Report of my film magazine

Introduction
The purpose of this report is to inform you about the production of my film magazine, so that a lot of people know about my product and will know when it comes out. This report will tell you all you need to know about my film magazine for example; contents, cost outline and more.I hope that this report makes you interested in buying my product when it comes out.

Outline
The film magazine cover will have bold and bright colours to attract the reader, with a range of fonts and texts sizes, giving the audience an insight to what will be inside the magazine. The magazine will also contain reviews, interviews and contests to interest an different range of aged people. It will be aimed at an audience aged 16 and above, as I can relate to young people so I will know what to add to interest them.It will attract all audiences because of all the things included inside, and on the cover.

Target audience
My target audience is for all different ages not just a specific age range. My main audience would be from 16 to 22 , I have chose a younger age group as I can relate to what they like and what they want to see in a film magazine.I believe that teenagers are more into films that I would include such as ,Avengers, so I am targeting them.My initial research from my pie charts show that younger people buy magazines are than there older generation.

Contents
The contents of my film magazine includes; reviews, movies to not miss, interviews with actors/actresses,previews on new movies and contests.I have chose to include these things as these are what the my initial research showed that the audience wanted me to include in a good film magazine.

Production cost and price

I have decided that my magazine would cost around £3 because the results from my questionnaire show that, that is the price my target audience would want to pay.It would cost around £2 to produce my film magazine, that is why I will be selling it at around £3 so that I make a profit of around £1.63

Distribution of my product

To distribute my film magazine i would send one hundred copies off to a supermarket and newsagents and I would Also send copies via a website or in some other e-media format. The one thing I have to consider when doing that is the cost and income and subscriptions would need to be set up before users could access information.I would then wait a while and see what way sold the most magazines and made the most money, I would then keep selling them that way.Selling them in newsagents is a great way to, as people of all ages shop there and not all people shop online and will be able to find them.

When it would come out

My film magazine would come out once every month, to give the audience reviews on films that have come out that month. Also to give out previews of the new films coming soon the up coming month, it will come out at the end of each month.
