An outline of your film magazine and its purpose

The film magazine will have bold and bright colours on the cover to attract the reader, it will also contain reviews,interviews and contests.It will be aimed at an audience aged 16 and above.It will attract all audiences because of all the things included inside, it will also have different types of font and sizes of writing.

Target audience and did you decide this from your initial research?

My target audience is for all different ages not just a specific age range.My main audience would be from 16 to 22 , I have chose a younger age group as I can relate to what they like and what they want to see in a film magazine.-

Production costs you have completed research on this, but how much would yours cost 

To produce my film magazine it would cost around £2 to make one, that is why I will be selling it at around £3 so that I make a profit of £1.

Where would you market your magazine/distribute it?

To distribute my film magazine i would send one hundred copies off to a supermarket and newsagents and I would Alsop send one hundred off via a website or in some other e-media format.The one thing I have to consider when doing that is the cost and income and subscriptions would need to be set up before users could access information.I would then wait a while and see what way sold the most magazines and made the most money, I would then keep selling them that way.                   

What would be the cost?

I have decided that my magazine would cost around £3 because the results from my questionnaire show that, that is the price my target audience would want to pay.

How many times would it come out each year?

My film magazine would come out once every month, to give the audience reviews on films that have come out that month.Also to give out previews of the new films coming soon the up coming month, it will come out at the end of each month.
